Network Administrator - Night Shift

About the role

This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Leidos is assisting CESO as they migrate to a high security cloud environment by leading day to day operations activities and incident response for assigned shift. This position is based in San Antonio, TX and is 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.
• Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.
• Plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.
• Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain CI poly if required.
• DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• BS in computer science or IT and 2+ years of experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Comfortable working 24×7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners.
• TS/SCI with CI poly preferred.
• AWS Cloud service experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto devices.
