Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise and direct support as the resident Network Administrator responsible for seamless communication and data flow across organizations and partners.
• Identifies possible network and system enhancements and develops/executes project plans as directed.
• Provides primary technical continuity and provides in-depth technical training and guidance to the military and civilian IT personnel.
• This includes oversight of IT-specific tasks (management and dissemination of IT duties, ensuring work is completed on time, monitoring the status and progress of IT tasks, and providing progress of IT taskers).
• Researches approved hardware, interfaces with vendors, requests quotes, and provides documentation for procurement to include ITPRs.
• Researches, plans, and coordinates new devices and technologies installation for foreign partners.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience.
• Must have experience designing, installing, operating, and maintaining networks.
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience implementing and supporting a virtual environment (VMWARE, NETAPP, etc.).
• Must be proficient in ASA (Adaptive Security Appliances), ISE (Identity Services Engine), VOIP, STIG, IAVA, Comply-to-connect, Nessus
