About the role

The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will function in both an independent and expanded collaborative role by planning and providing comprehensive, complete management of a primary caseload of critically ill infants and their families. This position includes attendance in the delivery room for high-risk deliveries and as needed upon request.

Responsibilities

  • Attend in the delivery room for high-risk deliveries and as needed upon request.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in all phases of practice are required.

Requirements

  • Excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to function at a high level in an interprofessional team environment as well as an independent provider.
  • PNP: Active Delaware Registered Nurse Licensure, Active unrestricted Delaware Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure; DE Prescriptive Authority; DE Federal DEA; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center; BLS and NRPPA-C: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state of Delaware; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; Delaware Prescriptive Authority; Delaware Federal DEA; BLS and NRP

Qualifications

  • Active Delaware Registered Nurse Licensure, Active unrestricted Delaware Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure; DE Prescriptive Authority; DE Federal DEA; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center;
  • BLS and NRPPA-C: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state of Delaware; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; Delaware Prescriptive Authority; Delaware Federal DEA; BLS and NRP

Skills
