Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Casual/PRN

About the role

Nemours Children’s Health Pensacola is seeking a casual Neurology Advanced Practice Provider to support the Emerald Coast location of Studer Family Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides care for patients requiring Neurology care under the direction of an attending Neurologist.
• Conducts parent interviews and takes family histories.
• Collaborates with Neurologists on historical events, physical findings, and diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
• Orders appropriate laboratory tests and procedures.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Participates in meeting departmental goals.
• Completes timely documentation as required by departmental policy and Nemours standards.
• Attends daily rounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida OR Active Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure/Physician Assistant Licensure, with or without prescriptive authority.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
