Nebraska Crossing - Part Time Team Leader

Core Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team schedules.
• Effectively supervises Sales Associates during shifts, addressing issues appropriately and in accordance with LEGO policies and procedures, with support from the ASM and SM.
• Completes orders for store and office supplies in line with guidelines and operating budgets.
• Fulfills money handling procedures for all Sales Associates.
• Maintains an organized stockroom at all times and ensures all available products are merchandised on the shop floor, while achieving loss prevention targets.
• Assists the ASM and SM in maintaining a high standard of merchandise presentation in accordance with store guidelines.

This part-time Team Leader position at Nebraska Crossing in Gretna, NE, aims to create an exceptional guest experience and inspire the builders of tomorrow. The role requires enhancing the team's ability to exceed high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and sales through regular review of sales and margin information.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership and management experience in a retail store environment, along with the capability to deliver employee training, manage cash handling and inventory/sales auditing, operate point-of-sale automated systems, maintain merchandise, and perform visual merchandising tasks according to LEGO Brand Retail guidelines.

The Team Leader will also be responsible for empowering and developing a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO Brand, Vision, and Values, and delivering inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values.

Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) effectively, focusing on customer service and maximizing profitable sales. Pay

The hourly wage for the position ranges from $20.70 to $22.10, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. Comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

Schedule

The Team Leader will be available to work up to 30 hours per week, covering the full week and weekends, with a minimum of 4 days of availability. The schedule may involve constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical requirements include lifting at least 30 lbs.
