About the role
We will train you in NDT. This is a role for a talented, detail-oriented journeyman level technician who is ready to lead. You'll run MAE inspections from start to finish, direct junior technicians, and be the subject-matter expert in the field.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute MAE inspections with minimal supervision, from test setup through final report
- Direct Level 1 technicians during inspection activities and field operations
- Collect, analyze, and interpret acoustic emission data to evaluate system safety and performance
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain compliance with established procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair Quantum fuel systems at our Midland, Texas facility
- Conduct maintenance on customer vehicles, trailers, and alternative-fuel systems
- Travel domestically for inspections and field service
Requirements
- NDT Level 2 certification in Acoustic Emission (or equivalent MAE qualification)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; comfortable directing others in the field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification or technical school preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean record; Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office basics: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Able to travel and work in varying field conditions
- Able to pass the Texas RRC CNG Service Installation exam
