About the role

Join our team of dedicated Quality Inspectors at a leading aerospace manufacturing facility. We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team in the role of NDT Technician, Visual Inspector, Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, and Quality Assurance Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision manufacturing, investment casting, and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspection and first article inspection (FAI) on aerospace components using precision measuring machines (CMM).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections including visual inspection, defect detection, and root cause analysis.
  • Document inspection results and prepare detailed inspection reports according to established procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process audits to enhance quality systems and meet production quality standards.
  • Support quality audits and assist in maintaining quality documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and inspection within the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Experience with CMM and other precision measurement tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification preferred.
  • Experience with investment casting processes and foundry operations.
  • Understanding of aerospace component manufacturing and quality control processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
