NDT Operator (1st Shift)

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections using various techniques including radiography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and penetrant testing. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure that all components meet the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and penetrant testing on various components to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work with engineering teams to interpret test results and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of all tests performed.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures during inspections.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest NDT methods and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A certification preferred.
• Experience in non-destructive testing or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
