Operator - 1st Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain safety protocols by reporting unsafe conditions and emergencies.
• Operate safety door on molding machine to extract molded parts or load molding fixtures/hand loads.
• Perform secondary operations on molded parts including trimming with knives and/or clippers, use of hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loads.
• Clean all auxiliary equipment such as hoppers, grinders, and dryers as needed.
• Identify and understand material tickets and safely answer machine alarms.
• Shut off water to the mold in case of a large leak.
• Collect first and last shots and correctly complete production orders and machine cards.
• Use limit samples and workmanship standards properly and perform rework procedures.
• Question and report anything unusual to supervisors immediately.
• Adhere to company policies regarding conduct, safety practices, and job performance.
• Work overtime as needed to support company growth and success.

• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of material tickets and machine operation.
• Ability to identify and address potential issues promptly.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to perform secondary operations on molded parts.
