ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain safety protocols by reporting issues and shutting down machines in emergencies.
- Clean auxiliary equipment such as hoppers, grinders, and dryers.
- Identify and address material tickets and machine alarms promptly.
- Complete production orders and machine cards accurately.
- Perform rework procedures as necessary.
- Work overtime as required and follow company policies.
- Participate in group and individual training sessions.
- Adhere to safety practices and encourage a positive safety culture.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate safety doors on molding machines to extract or load parts.
- Secondary operations include trimming molded parts with knives and/or clippers.
- Use hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loads.
- Answer machine alarms and shut off water to molds in case of leaks.
- Collect first and last shots of molded parts.
- Understand and apply workmanship standards and limit samples.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of material tickets and machine operation.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for secondary operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
