Operator - 1st Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain safety protocols by reporting issues and shutting down machines in emergencies.
• Clean auxiliary equipment such as hoppers, grinders, and dryers.
• Identify and address material tickets and machine alarms promptly.
• Complete production orders and machine cards accurately.
• Perform rework procedures as necessary.
• Work overtime as required and follow company policies.
• Participate in group and individual training sessions.
• Adhere to safety practices and encourage a positive safety culture.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate safety doors on molding machines to extract or load parts.
• Secondary operations include trimming molded parts with knives and/or clippers.
• Use hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loads.
• Answer machine alarms and shut off water to molds in case of leaks.
• Collect first and last shots of molded parts.
• Understand and apply workmanship standards and limit samples.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of material tickets and machine operation.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for secondary operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
