About the Role
ATS is seeking Level II UTSW Technicians for a shipyard contract assignment near Charleston, SC. This role offers steady work with overtime available as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT examinations of materials in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Set up and utilize NDT Testing Equipment.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees.
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
- Work independently and support team members.
- Perform other job-related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
- Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
Pay
Competitive pay at $55/hour with per diem at $320/day (7 days) based on current GSA rates.
