About the Role
ATS is seeking a Level III UTSW Technician for a shipyard contract assignment near Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform NDT examinations of materials in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Ensure proper setup and utilization of NDT testing equipment by inspection personnel.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which assigned personnel are qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees.
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
- Work independently and support team members.
- Perform other job-related tasks as needed and assigned by managers.
- Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
Pay
Competitive pay at $60–$65 per hour, plus per diem at $320/day (7 days) per current GSA rates.
Schedule
Steady work schedule with overtime as needed.
