About the role
Kaplan North America is seeking experienced Master's prepared nurses to teach the NCLEX exam. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high energy level and engage students for an excellent student experience.
- Facilitate learning and learner development.
- Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly.
- Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
- Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.
Requirements
- MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
- Current, unencumbered RN license required.
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
- Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Weekday availability required.
