NCLEX Instructor - Staten Island, NY (On-Site)

About the role

Kaplan North America is hiring NCLEX instructors for its Staten Island, NY location. The ideal candidate is a Master's prepared nurse with passion for helping new nursing graduates pass the NCLEX exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students for an excellent student experience.
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

Pay

• Hourly teaching rate: $50-$55/hr.
