NCLEX Instructor - Newburgh, NY (On-Site)

About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking experienced Master's prepared nurses to teach the NCLEX exam. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students to enhance the student experience.
• Facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn and apply Kaplan's teaching, presenting, and mentoring strategies quickly.
• Manage the classroom effectively.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

Pay

• Hourly teaching rate: $50-$55/hr.
