NCLEX Instructor - Queens, NY (On-Site)

About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking experienced Master's prepared nurses to teach the NCLEX exam. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed and enjoy a PRN job with potential benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students for an excellent student experience.
• Facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan's methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

Pay

• Hourly teaching rate: $50-$55/hr.
