At CGI, you can explore your full potential – not confined by borders or predefined paths. You're empowered to solve problems in your own unique way which is not only valued and respected but encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior liaison and subject matter expert between business associates (line of business, credit, risk, loan operations, compliance) and technology/vendor partners for the nCino lending platform.
- Lead requirements workshops, design reviews, and executive level stakeholder discussions; represent the BA function in steering committees and release governance meetings.
- Mentor and provide functional direction to junior and mid-level business analysts; review their deliverables for quality and consistency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to product owners, project managers, and leadership on platform roadmap, prioritization, and risk trade-offs.
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical direction for developers and administrators.
- Map current state lending workflows (origination, underwriting, approval routing, credit memo, covenant tracking, collateral management, booking) and design future state processes that maximize automation and control.
- Document end-to-end solution design for major enhancements and new feature deployments, including cross-functional impact analysis across configuration, workflow, reporting, and downstream systems.
- Lead source to target data mapping efforts between nCino/Salesforce and other enterprise systems, including core banking platforms, credit bureaus, document management/imaging systems, data warehouses, and regulatory reporting tools.
- Define and document field level mapping specifications, data dictionaries, transformation logic, and business rules for ETL/integration development.
- Partner with data engineers and integration teams on API, middleware, and batch integration design; validate data lineage, data quality, and reconciliation across systems.
- Support data migration efforts during nCino implementations, upgrades, or core conversions, including legacy data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and post-load validation.
- Identify data quality issues and gaps between systems and drive remediation with technical and business owners.
- Lead system validation, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for nCino releases, including test strategy, test case design, and defect triage.
- Own change management, training, and release communication for major platform changes; develop job aids and documentation to drive adoption.
- Monitor platform performance, adoption metrics, and issue trends; build reporting and dashboards to track key operational and data quality metrics.
- Lead issue triage and root cause analysis for production incidents, coordinating resolution across business, technical, and vendor teams.
- Ensure requirements, data mappings, and process documentation account for lending policy, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and client experience standards.
- Maintain requirements traceability and audit-ready documentation across the analysis lifecycle.
Requirements
- 6+ years of business analysis experience (or 8+ years for Lead level candidates), with significant time spent in lending operations, financial services technology delivery, or digital lending platforms.
- 3+ years of direct nCino and Salesforce experience required, including hands-on exposure to configuration, workflow, and reporting.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience with data mapping, ETL, or systems integration projects — able to speak fluently to source to target mapping, data dictionaries, and transformation logic.
- Expert-level understanding of business analysis discipline: requirements elicitation, process mapping, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, traceability, and impact analysis.
- Deep knowledge of commercial or consumer lending, credit workflows, loan operations, and portfolio management.
- Strong data literacy: comfortable working directly with data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, mapping spreadsheets, and SQL for validation/reconciliation.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience leading or supporting a full nCino implementation, upgrade, or core banking data migration/conversion.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, or comparable loan origination/digital lending platforms.
- Background in Credit Administration, Loan Operations, Risk, Compliance, or Portfolio Management.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, middleware, or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar) supporting nCino/Salesforce data flows.
- ServiceNow Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certification.
- nCino Administrator certification or formal nCino functional training.
- Experience mentoring analysts or serving as a functional/product owner on a project team.
