About the role
Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for Precision Manufacturing Department courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses including Advanced Machine Tool Processes and Theory I, Machining Technology, Machine Tool Processes and Theory II, and Advanced Machine Tool Processes and Theory II.
- Ensure students achieve a grade of 'C' or better to pass the course.
- Participate in service learning projects and individual/group projects.
- Teach job hunting techniques such as resume writing and interviewing skills.
Requirements
- Possess an Associates degree or Bachelors degree in a related field and/or fifteen years experience in machine tool technology.
- Have knowledge of MasterCam.
- Be available to work two evenings per week.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in precision manufacturing.
- Experience teaching similar courses.
Skills
- Proficiency in using CNC machines.
- Ability to teach advanced machining processes.
- Knowledge of MasterCAM software.
Benefits
- Salary range: $825-$975 per contact hour.
- Rate determined by adjunct faculty rank based on education and experience.
Pay
$825-$975 per contact hour.
