About the role
Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for Precision Manufacturing Department courses.
Responsibilities
- Increase proficiency and knowledge in advanced machine tool processes and theory.
- Teach courses including MTTN231-Advanced Machine Tool Processes and Theory I, MTTN118 -Machining Technology, MTTN122N -Machine Tool Processes and Theory II, and MTTN232-Advanced Machine Tool Processes and Theory II.
- Utilize MasterCam and other CAM software.
- Participate in service learning projects.
- Teach job hunting techniques such as resume writing and interviewing skills.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: Associates degree or Bachelors degree in a related field and/or fifteen years experience in machine tool technology.
- Knowledge of MasterCam.
- Ability to work two evenings per week.
- Salary range: $825-$975 per contact hour.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in a related field.
- Experience teaching similar courses.
Skills
- Proficiency in MasterCAM.
- Ability to teach advanced machine tool processes and theory.
- Experience with CNC machines and lathe operations.
