About the Role

As a Pre-K Assistant Teacher, you will assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum. You will contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families while helping forge strong, supportive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote developmental domains such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression.
  • Play a key role in observing and assessing children's development to aid in customizing the curriculum to meet each child's unique needs.
  • Support the mission of guiding young learners toward achieving their School Readiness Goals.
