Responsibilities

• Assist the NC Pre‑K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities.
• Adhere to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education.
• Align classroom practices with the objectives of the current NC Pre‑K Curriculum.
• Help create a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families.
• Support the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote physical health, social‑emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression.
• Observe and assess children’s development to aid in customizing the curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs.
• Contribute to guiding young learners toward achieving School Readiness Goals.
