Responsibilities
- Execute all functions related to the Sales Cycle at Big Sky Resort, including generating, qualifying and nurturing leads, contract negotiations and closing Group Sales related business.
- Effectively prepare and present proposals that accurately represent lodging, meeting space and seasonal recreational offerings that meet the needs of prospective clients and are aligned with the resort’s strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual clients, accounts and partners to drive long-term business success.
- Cultivate curated site visit experiences.
- Ensure all sales strategies, processes, and handoffs deliver an exceptional guest experience, while enabling the conference services teams to do the same.
- Hold a deep understanding of owned market segment dynamics - including trends and competitors.
- Demonstrate the ability to clearly articulate and influence strategic direction of owned market segments, carry initiatives from strategy through execution, and desire for continuous optimization.
- Accurately track and report sales data, ensure strong system and process adoption, strengthen client relationships, and effectively execute the sales cycle.
- Show self-motivation and team/goal orientation.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of hospitality sales related experience.
- Well organized with an aptitude in problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available for periodic travel.
- Familiarity with Springer Miller Host PMS platform.
- Familiarity with Amadeus/Delphi Sales and Catering platform.
- Familiarity with Duetto/Blockbuster Revenue Management platform.
