National Practice Account Manager (Commercial Insurance)
About the role
The National Practice Account Manager will play a strategic and highly visible role within our national Veterinary Insurance Program. This individual is responsible for servicing large, private equity-backed veterinary practice groups that operate across the United States. The role focuses on servicing all lines of property and casualty coverage needed by multi-location veterinary practices, including workers' compensation, property, general liability, commercial auto, umbrella, and more, as well as leading renewal efforts to market these accounts. This individual will interface directly with clients on a consistent basis as the go-to contact for service needs and technical coverage questions, serving as a trusted advisor to key contacts within client organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead renewal efforts for large, complex accounts.
- Serve as the senior point of service contact for assigned key accounts, fostering long-term relationships built on trust, expertise, and responsiveness.
- Partner closely with practice administrators, CFOs, and risk management personnel to address exposures and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Coordinate with other service team members to ensure seamless onboarding, renewal, and policy servicing.
- Stay attuned to M&A activity of each client, maintaining awareness of practice acquisitions and new locations to ensure continuity of coverage.
- Work collaboratively with carrier partners and underwriters to negotiate coverage terms for large accounts.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Veterinary Practice Group's national strategy.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- 5+ years (minimum) experience in middle market commercial insurance client servicing.
- Deep understanding of Property & Casualty lines, coverage structures, and risk management principles.
- Strong financial acumen and comfort with analyzing loss data, risk exposures, and practice operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel nationally as needed to support client presentations with account producers.

Pay
- $51,800 - $85,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
