Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing customized insurance solutions.
  • Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, secure quotes, and address underwriting requirements.
  • Educate clients on policy coverages and risk management strategies to support informed decision-making.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and claims with a focus on delivering a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with company processes and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional coverage or expanding lines of business.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to offer proactive client guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to contribute to continuous process improvement and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines in the insurance industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
