Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
  • Work with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
  • Aid clients with claims handling and provide support throughout the claims process
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and insurance regulations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or similar role
  • Proficiency with AMS software, specifically Applied EPIC
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage options
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • A valid insurance license

Day-to-day

  • Engage with clients to review their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and coverage options
  • Process policy change requests and provide timely updates to clients
  • Address client inquiries and provide ongoing support
  • Stay informed about changes in the insurance industry and share relevant updates with clients
