High-impact, customer-facing sales leader responsible for expanding STEMCO’s position with national fleet accounts across an assigned U.S. territory. Ideal for a proven commercial vehicle, OES/OEM, fleet, or aftermarket sales professional who can build executive-level relationships, influence specification and maintenance decisions, and convert complex opportunities into profitable, year-over-year growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow assigned national fleet accounts by building strategic relationships with senior fleet maintenance, operations, purchasing, and technical decision-makers.
- Develop and execute account plans that protect existing revenue, expand STEMCO product content, support OEM specification opportunities, and convert competitive business.
- Lead consultative sales conversations that connect STEMCO’s wheel-end, suspension, and commercial vehicle solutions to customer priorities such as uptime, safety, reliability, lifecycle cost, and maintenance efficiency.
- Identify, qualify, and advance a disciplined pipeline of fleet growth opportunities using CRM, business intelligence, customer data, and market insights.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, technical training, fleet reviews, and virtual or in-person business updates that strengthen customer confidence and accelerate adoption.
- Partner with product management, engineering, customer service, marketing, and regional sales teams to remove obstacles, respond to technical needs, and provide a coordinated customer experience.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing fleet trends, competitive intelligence, product feedback, and market opportunities with internal stakeholders.
- Track account performance, forecast opportunities, and communicate progress against sales goals, conversion priorities, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent STEMCO professionally at customer meetings, fleet reviews, industry events, and field visits while maintaining a high level of travel flexibility.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in the commercial vehicle, fleet, OES/OEM, aftermarket, heavy-duty trucking, or related industrial market; national account or strategic account experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to sell to senior-level fleet, distributor, OEM, and technical leaders with a consultative, value-based approach.
- Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market, fleet maintenance operations, regional OEM channels, and the factors that influence specification and maintenance decisions.
- Proven ability to maintain existing business, add product content, grow share of wallet, and convert competitive accounts.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to create account plans, prioritize opportunities, manage a pipeline, and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills across in-person, phone, video, and digital sales platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineering, customer service, operations, marketing, and field sales teams to solve customer needs.
- Resilient, persistent, and customer-focused approach to complex sales cycles, objections, competitive pressure, and long-term relationship development.
- Preferred knowledge of STEMCO products, customer base, competitors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to approximately 75%, including an average of three nights per week as business needs require.
- Must reside in the United States near a major metropolitan airport.
