What You'll Do

Drive Architectural Specifications

  • Expand ARDEX specifications throughout the Northeast region, working closely with architects, designers, and specification professionals
  • Develop and grow specification activity throughout the Northeast region
  • Build relationships with architects, designers, specification writers, engineering firms, and building consultants
  • Influence product selection and specification decisions during project design phases
  • Possibly Partner with regional sales teams to expand project pipelines and uncover new opportunities
  • Position ARDEX as a trusted technical resource within the architectural community

Develop National Account Relationships

  • Be a strategic partner to key national organizations, supporting specification opportunities across multiple locations and construction programs
  • Develop and expand relationships with national retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and commercial construction accounts
  • Engage key decision-makers including: Directors of Construction, VP's of Store Planning and Design, Facilities Leaders, Architectural Managers, Specification Writers
  • Serve as a primary ARDEX contact for designated national accounts
  • Support specification opportunities across multi-site programs and high-profile projects

Support Strategic Growth Initiatives

  • Identify and support opportunities related to: Offsite Construction, Prefabrication, Modular Building Systems, Emerging construction technologies and market trends, Strategic product and market expansion initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, and Product Management teams to align customer needs with business objectives

What You'll Bring

  • Motivated professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and influencing business outcomes
  • Experience in architectural sales, specification sales, national account management, or a related commercial construction role
  • Knowledge of architectural specifications, design processes, and commercial construction practices
  • Experience working with building products, flooring systems, construction materials, or related categories
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Demonstrated business development experience
  • Effective planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Experience presenting to large groups and influencing decision-makers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, CRM platforms, and related business applications
  • A customer-focused, energetic, and professional approach

Education and Requirements

  • Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory up to 35%, including overnight travel
  • Ability to travel by automobile and air
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
