Responsibilities
- Negotiate all bids, including follow-up concerning submitted proposals.
- Read and understand customer drawings and specifications - take-offs.
- Ensure contracts are properly checked, ensuring material and scope of work is consistent with our bid.
- Oversee projects to ensure they are carried out according to established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Regularly communicate with all parties involved in the project (owner, contractor, production facilities).
- Process all invoicing to proper parties and credits to installers.
- Review and/or prepare closing documents, legal contracts, state and local licenses, warranties, and project manuals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Show technical skills, excellent customer service skills, and strong oral and written communication.
- Have experience in sales or project management, particularly in the building commercial products industry.
- Be proficient in MS Office and have experience with Oracle.
- Have a BS or BA degree or equivalent of two to four years related experience.
- Be able to read and understand blueprints (plan take-offs).
- Have experience in the door industry (a plus).
- Be adaptable, dependable, motivated, and have a positive attitude.
