Responsibilities
- Manage and expand existing as well as new distribution channels in North America
- Ensure effective representation and growth of the Tommee Tippee brand
- Analyze syndicated data, POS data, global shopper insights, purchasing and trend data
- Leverage fact-based product and consumer information to develop forecasts, compelling promotional narratives, insights, and updates for customers
- Develop, execute and manage the North American sales operating plan with existing accounts, and future accounts across all channels
- Own customer/account operations including management of multiple brokers
- Lead negotiation on account specific trading terms, promotions and other activity in line with the brand strategies for North America
- Increase listings, distribution and visibility of the Mayborn portfolio
- Complete customer Joint Business Plans which deliver incremental account profit and overall delivery of EBITDA targets/quarterly reporting
- Collaborate with internal global brands teams to facilitate partnership with retailers to gain broader reach and drive awareness of the Tommee Tippee brand
- Improve account and category cash and profit – Full P&L management & reporting
- Deliver a balanced pricing approach throughout customer base to deliver a sustainable pricing and margin plan
- Manage quarterly account presentations and related personnel to execute them, that include state of the business, future planning and NPD presentation
- Provide trackers, monthly board reports/ quarterly reports and solutions and contingency planning for remedial action as appropriate
- Partner with Digital Marketing, ensure / co-ordinate market leading Tommee Tippee content for deployment including digital shelf, merchandising investments, and social commerce execution to drive strong returns / share gains within retailer e-commerce channels
- Delivery of forecasts, orders, and payment requirements and work with logistics and planning team to build adequate inventory within plans
- Manage Sales spending with support from MUSA commercial team
- Deliver consistent marketing message through key retailers
- Communicate the Tommee Tippee brand position and objectives utilizing key retailer platforms
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships across Trade Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, Category Management and Supply Chain
- Manage expenses and travel costs within company policy guidelines in successful performance of the role
Qualifications
- Proven experience within the consumer goods industry
- Strong experience in CPG Sales
- Additional career experience in Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Marketing, or Category Management would be advantageous
- Ability to co-deliver joint business plans that result in sales growth
- Management skills including the ability to manage cross-functional groups, including brokers (internal and external)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong ability to leverage fact-based selling
- Commercial skills – understanding of P&L and key levers to drive sales
- POS and Syndicated data experience with the ability to understand and interpret the data into customer presentations
- Experience of developing trade/consumer marketing strategies and programmes
- Ability to adapt and find solutions, creative thinker who finds their way forward
- Persistent, tenacious and resilient. A self-starter by nature with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Forecasting and multi-year planning abilities
- Understanding and support for GTM and 4P analysis plans
- Ability to challenge back, not afraid to punch above and speak up
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and constantly moving priorities
- Strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills, this is critical
- Ability to work flexibly and undertake USA based travel as required
