Responsibilities
Responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic's core values and supporting community based health care and integrated delivery systems through the sales and services of (MCL). In alignment with the MCL sales process, has overall National Account responsibility for generating new business revenue, establishing long-term business relationships, developing and leading specific account strategies, managing all aspects of new sale activities, account retention and growth, collaborates and coordinates with internal MCL departments to meet strategic goals and client expectations. Communicates the value of the laboratory to health system executive leadership. Develops health system relationships by leading MCL teams to meet customer and MCL strategic initiatives. Works within complex, highly matrixed organizations and focuses on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with MCL’s most important customers and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration and three years of sales, business management, or health care industry experience. A master’s is preferred.
- Must understand client organizational priorities through application of client, industry, and competitive knowledge.
- Able to apply financial and business acumen to create value analysis for strategic account and opportunity planning.
- Able to lead multifunctional client and MCL teams.
- Responsible for overall health system relationship and business outcomes.
- Able to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects.
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability, adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCL policies and procedures.
- Ability to function and work in a diverse work environment while selling MCL Services and providing direction to clients in a concise, sensitive, informative, and professional manner. Keeping a positive and courteous tone, particularly in adversarial discussions.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory issues, reimbursement issues, and service requirements.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Compensation range: $172,715 - $211,756 / annually
