NAF Support Manager NF-04
This position is located at the NAF Support Services Division. Open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S., including Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
About the role
Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Directorate of Family, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Division. Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division. Directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures; and implements regulations to ensure functions are carried out.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and supervision, and communicates mission and organization goals to subordinates.
- Applies knowledge of programming, planning, budgeting, and long-range MWR resources.
- Directs and develops finance and accounting operations through various services, including receipt, distribution, and accounting for NAF.
- Maintains accounts showing status of installation allotments, assets, and liabilities.
- Establishes current and long-range programs considering user desires for program/services, mission, strength, and facilities.
- Prioritizes programs, program changes, and projects in terms of user needs and affordability.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Incumbent must file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with the requirements of AR 600-50.
Qualifications

- Required: One (1) year experience directing one or more Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Management programs for a garrison or similar civilian community.
- Highly Preferred/Best Qualified:
- At least one (1) year work experience in developing, executing, and monitoring Non-appropriated Fund budgets, including preparing and interpreting variance reports, conducting comprehensive financial analyses.
- Possess knowledge of Uniform Funding Management (UFM) allocations, including identifying which activities are authorized to receive UFM support and applying UFM funds in the required priority order to installation programs.

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Incentives will not be paid. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

- This job is open to candidates who reside within 50 miles of Fort Leavenworth.
