This position is located at Custodial Services and is open to U.S. Citizens, Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Candidates must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. This job is open to candidates who resided within 50 miles of Fort Leavenworth.

Duties

  • Manages the Custodial Services activity.
  • Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
  • As a second-level supervisor, reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors.
  • Conducts management reviews to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
  • Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops the activity financial plan.
  • Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Appointment is subject to a favorable suitability determination.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

  • Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (Custodial Services) to be managed.
