What You’ll Do:
- Provide live music experiences for hospice patients in homes, care centers, or inpatient facilities
- Use soothing music to help ease pain, anxiety, and emotional distress
- Play instruments, sing familiar songs, or create calming soundscapes tailored to each patient’s preferences
- Offer gentle, compassionate presence and support for family members and caregivers
- Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure appropriate, respectful, and meaningful visits
What You’ll Need:
- Experience as a musician, singer, or board-certified music therapist
- Compassionate, sensitive, and calming presence
- Comfort working with individuals who are terminally ill and their families
- Ability to adapt music selection and delivery to different needs, moods, and situations
