🎶 Music Therapy Volunteer — Hospice Care

What You’ll Do:

• Provide live music experiences for hospice patients in homes, care centers, or inpatient facilities
• Use soothing music to help ease pain, anxiety, and emotional distress
• Play instruments, sing familiar songs, or create calming soundscapes tailored to each patient’s preferences
• Offer gentle, compassionate presence and support for family members and caregivers
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure appropriate, respectful, and meaningful visits

What You’ll Need:

• Experience as a musician, singer, or board-certified music therapist
• Compassionate, sensitive, and calming presence
• Comfort working with individuals who are terminally ill and their families
• Ability to adapt music selection and delivery to different needs, moods, and situations
