Community Hospice is seeking a qualified Music Practitioner/Therapist to join their team. The Music Therapist will provide complimentary therapy services to patients in various settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and patients' homes.

What You Will Do
The Music Therapist is a key member of the healthcare team, providing therapy services to Hospice patients in Home Care, Nursing Home, or Inpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Direct care and evaluation of patients
- Formulation and implementation of treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs
What You Will Need
- A current license to practice as a Music Therapist or Certified Music Practitioner in New York State
- Two years of professional experience in music discipline, preferably in home care, hospice, or health-related fields
- A valid New York State driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel
- Experience with computers, including laptops, email, cell phones, and basic software programs
- High interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues

Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.85 - $31.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
Schedule
The schedule for this part-time position is Day Shift.
