Brief Description Music Therapist | Hospice, Full-time Faith Hospice is seeking to add a full-time Board-Certified Music Therapist to our team! This key team member provides music therapy services to hospice patients and their families and loved ones. What will you do? Provide music therapy consultations and assessmentsDevelop treatment plans catered to the needs of patients and their families and loved onesImplement treatment plan through music interventionsConsult with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to Faith Hospice patients and familiesEducate hospice staff members on the appropriate use of the music therapy program and encourage referrals from all clinical team members and volunteers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or degree in Music with a Music Therapy Equivalency Certificate is requiredBoard Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Board Certification of Music Therapists (CBMT) is requiredHospice and Palliative Care Music Therapist certification preferredExperience with terminally ill patients and their families, as well as familiarity with the aging process, death and dying is highly valuedCommitment to Faith Hospice's philosophy of care, values, mission statement, and organization culture Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance Coverage Generous 403b match with access to a professional Financial Planner at no cost Apply online at www.faithhospicecare.org or call Laurie, our recruiter at 616-235-5027.
