About the role
Applicant will provide clinical coverage for musculoskeletal radiology. Must have clinical expertise in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology, with an emphasis on radiographs. Individuals will be responsible for radiography and multimodality cross-sectional studies from outpatient services, including orthopedics and primary care, and emergency department, trauma and inpatient services; experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows; and have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active and Unrestricted California Medical License
- Active and Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
- Board Certified in Medical Specialty
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
- Completion of a US Residency Program
- Strong Political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
- Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Radiology Subspecialty Fellowship Certification in Musculoskeletal Radiology
- Fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology.
- Expertise in advanced musculoskeletal radiology services, with an emphasis on radiographs.
- Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings.
