Musculoskeletal Imaging - Clinician--Educator - Senior Ranks

About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Daily clinical supervision and teaching of residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
• Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties
• Providing clinical service in the usual clinical skill sets (plain film, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations)
• Competence in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and image-guided tumor biopsies
• Participating in the Musculoskeletal Imaging off-hours on-call program, including evening, night, and weekend coverage
• Leading the development of a focused body of research in a field within Musculoskeletal Imaging
• Serving as a mentor to junior faculty, providing strong guidance and support in the development of clinical or basic research careers

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology
• Completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship is strongly recommended
