About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Daily clinical supervision and teaching of residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
  • Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties
  • Teaching medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at HUP, PPMC, PAH, and PAVMC
  • Providing clinical service in PF, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations
  • Competent in diagnostic MSK US and image-guided tumor biopsies
  • Participation in the Musculoskeletal Imaging off-hours on-call program, including evenings, nights, and weekends

Requirements

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The ideal candidate should be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in MSK Radiology.
