Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Radiologist
About the role
The Department of Radiology offers a unique opportunity for a Musculoskeletal Imaging and Interventional Radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career, to support the MSK Section at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health.
Responsibilities
- Work to be performed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- Interpret diagnostic studies, including radiographs, CT, MR, and MSK ultrasound.
- Image guided procedures including therapeutic injections, biopsies, aspirations, ablations, and spine procedures.
- Teach lectures and conferences as well as daily training of residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Participate in the teaching, research, and administrative efforts of the Section and Department.
Requirements
- WI medical license, or eligible is required by start date of position.
- Board certified, or board-eligible is required by American Board of Radiology (ABR) by start date of position.
- Completion of Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship is required by start date of position.
- Completion of Diagnostic Radiology Residency program is required by start date of position.
Qualifications
- MD or DO, or equivalent is required by start date of position.
