About the role

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position working 4 days per week, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm, primarily at our Edina location with occasional travel to Woodbury. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a physician-owned and -led group of local medical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiological equipment and safety, shielding techniques, imaging skills, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Circulate and scrub during interventional procedures.
  • Provide patient education and assist with patient care within scope of practice.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes and notify medical staff promptly.
  • Practice radiation safety in accordance with regulations; select accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis.
  • Request medical records and imaging from other sites.
  • Assist VIE providers with accurate data collection, documentation, and data entry for compliance.
  • Analyze and assist in resolving problems to improve patient care, practice, and system operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • RT(VI), RT(CV), or RT(CT) certification preferred; willing to cross-train.
  • Experience as an interventional technologist preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws).
  • Prompt and reliable attendance; ability to work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective prioritization of workload.
  • Respectful and professional communication in face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
  • Application of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
  • Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate clearly in phone or video calls.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).

Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
