About the Role
Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary team at an interventional radiology center.
Responsibilities
- Interpret imaging studies such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic conditions.
- Perform image-guided procedures including biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolizations, and nephrostomy placements.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to develop imaging strategies and procedural plans.
- Participate in clinical decision-making, patient education, and communicate imaging findings clearly.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
- Active or eligible Florida medical license.
Skills
- Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interpret complex imaging modalities.
- Proficiency in minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.
- Collaborative approach to patient care and multidisciplinary teamwork.
