About the role
MUSC Health Primary Care – Trenholm Rd is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing outpatient primary care team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic care management
- Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and treatment planning
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of primary care conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- Opportunity to precept students and support APP development
Requirements
- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- BLS certification
- DEA and DHEC licensure prior to start date
- Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Commitment to teamwork, preventive medicine, and improving community health
