Responsibilities

  • Support the Joint Staff J-8 Warfare Analysis Division (WAD) Modeling team to update platform and weapon system modeling data for the Synthetic Operations Research Model (STORM) and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM).
  • Review, research, characterize, and monitor at least 100 blue and red platforms and systems performance daily.
  • Develop, refresh, and integrate improved modeling data into existing models, working in partnership with a dedicated WAD modeling team.
  • Acquire, interpret, synthesize, and leverage intelligence resources to inform performance modeling of adversary capabilities.
  • Perform ad-hoc efforts related to J8 WAD’s modeling and simulation effort, and develop and update products to inform J8 WAD’s net assessments focusing on threat systems and potential adversary reactions.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of education can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience related to one or more of the following: Military or operations research-related field, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Force and capability development, Intelligence collection and analysis.
  • 8+ additional years of experience working with DoW stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets.
  • Adept with interfacing with clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of demonstrated ability leading DoW analytic and/or operations research teams, or prior Military Service.

Pay

Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $145,000.00/Yr.
