Missile Operations Analyst
Job Description and Tasks
The Analyst will provide technical expertise, training and evaluations, and records management support as follows:
- Plan, define, implement and manage operational missile monitoring systems to yield more effective and flexible support.
- Advocate for emerging systems using automated information and communications capabilities for improved command and control decision making.
- Apply an integrated systems approach to assist with training, evaluating, developing, implementing, testing, planning, and managing missile situational awareness operators and functions.
- Support Commander USSTRATCOM (CDRUSSTRATCOM) in the role of the Nuclear Command and Control authority.
- Aid in strategic management aspects of the responsibilities executed by USSTRATCOM/J36 Division.
- Support operational missile awareness systems and System Experts with situational awareness and operational advice on missile operations and global missile defense.
- Aid in the day-to-day operational management of DoD-owned resources to provide authorized users with global missile situational awareness support as operations and evolving requirements dictate.
Job Requirements/Required Skills
- Security Clearance: ACTIVE TS with SCI Eligibility
- Demonstrated relevant experience in an operations center at a Combatant Command.
- Possess more than five (5) years of combined demonstrated relevant experience with the following systems:
- Command and Control, Battle Management Communications (C2BMC)
- Processing and Display Subsystem Migration (PDS-M)
- Missile Analysis Reporting System (MARS)
- Force Survival Analysis and Management (FSAM)
- Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES)
- Strategic Training Enterprise Network (STEN)
- Subscriber Terminal Network Terminal (ST/NT)
Desired Skills
- Knowledge and Understanding of Emergency Action Procedures (EAPs) and Missile Operations Policies and Procedures
- Training experience including the development of annual training plans and lesson plans.
- Experience developing training simulations.
- Demonstrated experience with classroom and console training.
