About the role

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Demolitions Operator to join our team in Parsons, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general condition and utilization of warehouses and manage stock movement.
• Prepare explosives demolition charges and move processed ammunition.
• Load and unload hazardous waste material, storing it in igloos or warehouses according to drawing specifications.
• Maintain a master log of all hazardous waste material, perform physical inventory of destroyed materials, and verify quantity and lot numbers of received materials.
• Determine storage arrangements to conserve space, reduce handling, ensure accessibility, and comply with safety regulations.
• Perform roads and grounds duties.

Skills

• Safety awareness and commitment at all times.
• Knowledge of Security Regulations (ATF, DSS, Homeland Security).
• Strong math skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Munitions Disposal and Surveillance Operations and forklift operation.
• Minimum 6th-grade reading comprehension level.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $22.52 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
