Summary
EnviroVantage, Inc., an industry-leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor founded in 1985, seeks to expand its team with a Demolition Operator.
Essential Functions
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, offroad haul trucks, and skid steers.
- Prepare construction site by digging trenches, leveling ground, and moving materials.
- Load and unload materials such as soil, sand, gravel, and debris using machinery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition and report any issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in demolition.
- Experience in the construction and/or environmental remediation field required.
- OSHA 10 of higher construction training preferred.
- HAZWOPER 40 Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience operating hydraulic attachments.
Physical Requirements
- Cordination: Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites.
- Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are essential job functions.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution, and toxic atmospheres.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary.
- Lifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
- Climbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders.
- Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work.
Total Rewards
- Compensation Range: $30.00 - $40.00/hour.
