Key Responsibilities
- Advising public agencies on municipal, transactional, and land use matters.
- Serving as legal counsel to planning commissions, boards, and public bodies.
- Providing guidance on public agency compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, ordinances, resolutions, and related legal documents.
- Attending and supporting planning commission, council, and board meetings as needed.
- Researching and analyzing legal issues affecting public agencies and municipal operations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law.
- 5+ years of experience representing public agencies in transactional, advisory, or municipal law matters.
- Experience advising planning commissions, boards, councils, or similar public bodies.
- Strong knowledge of public agency governance, land use, zoning, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and provide practical legal solutions.
Pay
$170,000 - $200,000 annually
