Responsibilities
- Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center.
- Operates MRI equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
- Provides excellent patient care throughout the facility.
- Practices proper MRI safety techniques with all patients, visitors, and employees.
- Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
- Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
- Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents any deviation
- Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
- Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
- Takes emergency call as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensure/Certification: Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) Certificate, Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License, Current BLS certification
