Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center.
• Operates MRI equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
• Provides excellent patient care throughout the facility.
• Practices proper MRI safety techniques with all patients, visitors, and employees.
• Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
• Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents any deviation
• Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
• Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
• Takes emergency call as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Licensure/Certification: Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) Certificate, Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License, Current BLS certification
