About the role
The Radiologic Tech will perform routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging. This position offers competitive pay with additional differentials for evening, night, and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging
- May cross train into other modalities and obtain necessary certifications based on department needs
- Must maintain certification in tech's special modality, such as CT or mammography
- May work evening and weekend shifts, including overnight shifts for CT certification
- Participation in a weekend shift rotation may be required in the future
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school
- Certification by the ARRT or its equivalent
- Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology
- Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional through continuous professional growth and development
- Maintain certification in tech’s special modality, such as CT or mammography
- CT and/or Mammography certification strongly preferred

Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to cross train into other modalities
- Current certification in relevant modalities (CT, Mammography)

Schedule
Depending on certifications, the schedule may vary. Historically, this role has worked four 10-hour shifts in one week and three 12-hour shifts in the alternate week. If certified in mammo or CT, the schedule would likely include evening hours. If CT certified, overnight shifts may be needed for vacation coverage. Participation in a weekend shift rotation is not currently required but may be required in the future if needed.
