Multicultural Student Services Administrative Assistant
About the role
The Opportunity: As the Multicultural Student Services Administrative Assistant, you will perform a variety of duties to support the daily operations of Multicultural Student Services, Student Accommodations and Disability Resources, the Women’s Center, LGBTQ+ programs, and other multicultural student groups. In addition to providing direct phone and email support, you will assist with administrative and fiscal tasks that align with the Student Affairs Strategic Plan, specifically the goals of Student Engagement, Support and Advocacy, and enhancing the Campus Experience. You will also help develop and implement office policies and procedures, as well as coordinate event scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct phone and email support to students, faculty, and staff.
- Assist with administrative and fiscal tasks aligned with the Student Affairs Strategic Plan.
- Support the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate event scheduling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent AND two years of clerical, office or administrative experience; OR
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1; OR
- Equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year Higher Education experience.
- Windows/Microsoft Office applications experience.

Position Details
- Full-time (100% FTE), permanent position.
- Overtime eligible.
- Monthly Salary: $3,738 to $4,980 | Range 41 Steps A - M.
- This position is subject to a background check.
- Position is fully in-person.
